I'm watching Jesus Camp. It's hard to get through. It's actually kind of frightening.

I take it back. It's terrifying. I've lived in California all my life, I've never seen anything like that.
I live not too far from where that movie takes place. Whereas you cannot imagine there being people like that, i cannot imagine people not being like that. Hell, I grew up going to a similar church. If there's one way to make people revolt against something, its to shove it down their throats.
Edit: Actually, i live close to where some of that movie takes place. And others on here live much closer.
"Jesus Camp is about the "Kids On Fire School of Ministry," a charismatic Christian summer camp located just outside Devils Lake, North Dakota and run by Becky Fischer and her ministry, Kids in Ministry International. The film focuses on three children who attended the camp in the summer of 2005—Levi, Rachael, and Tory (Victoria). The film cuts between footage of the camp and a children's prayer conference held just prior to the camp at Christ Triumphant Church, a large charismatic church in Lee's Summit, Missouri, a suburb of Kansas City."

Jesus Camp is very disturbing. The only thing I've seen in real life that is equally disturbing was an adult male kissing his hand while silently muttering "jesus". Everything seemed ok up until that moment. I have not visited a church since then.

You'd likely see more disturbing things if you went to the tenderloin in San Francisco, lol
Watched the Triplets of Belleville this past weekend. That was a bizarre movie, but I would definitely recommend to fans of Hayao Miyazaki. Speaking of which, I bought Ponyo yesterday, but I'm waiting until Saturday night to watch it. Now I just need all of you to pray that we stop the movie early and I get a little rub.

I don't have the time it takes to recover from the day
I sit and moan and mope and groan and never have my say
A crown of thorns from which is born a little baby bird
To fly away and have its day is nothing but absurd
