If he was god, he wouldn't have that awful wheezing whenever he breathed in.

Something he could fix if he wasn't so fucking arrogant and would take 3 singing lessons

When you're that arrogant, you're only hurting your music

Now see, I like that. It's what I first noticed when I discovered them, and I found it unique and I liked that they didn't edit it out. It's real and displays a lot of passion.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8e3Amp4SgOY watch that and tell me it doesn't get annoying

Arrogance is one of my biggest turnoffs in musicians in particular the refusal to learn from others. It's the only reason I have anything bad to say about Muse, Origin Of Symmetry is in my top 10 of best records of all time

Part of why I find it annoying is because I know he could get rid of it in two days if he wasn't too stubborn to get a vocal coach

But see, I don't think he wants to get rid of it. It's kind of their signature sound. It's part of what I like about them. It's part of their appeal.

There's a story (which I'm sure you're familiar with) that their American label tried to get him to edit Origin of Symmetry to make it more "friendly" to an American audience. It's pretty clear that Bellamy's vocal style was what they were talking about. Bellamy rightly told us to fuck off, and Americans didn't even know who Muse was until Absolution.

But I agree with you that Origin of Symmetry is one of the best albums ever recorded.

The point is that he doesn't need voice lessons!

                        At least that's my point.

Everyone can get better at what they do, I don't know why he wouldn't want to do all he can to be as good as he can
