There are a few parking lots in the area. Drive around the block down Pennsylvania and you'll see two lots, it's kind of behind (to the West of) The Riot Room if you're on Broadway. But I wouldn't be surprised if they were full because Les Claypool is playing the Beaumont tonight too, so lots of people will be in the area.

There's more parking too if you keep going west down by the Sun Fresh grocery store. It's a bit of a walk but what can you do.

You should be able to find parking all around Westport. Try looking in the lots across from the Beaumont Club.

I also assumed you had good reasons... don't worry, OSC, I definitely think better of you... if it were me, and work really needed the help, I'd skip a show too... even a band I had never seen or one I didn't see often... I'll most likely have to do it for this round of dredg shows anyway...

Well, the Des Moines show (only 3 hours away) is like less then a month away so I'm ok with settling with that...

...had that Des Moines show not been there, I'd be torn...

As far as I know kukyfrope is doing a multicamera recording for this.

I have 2 nice cameras lined up for this show, a pair of mics + recorder and a hope the band lets me run a soundboard feed into another deck. I've never been inside this venue before, so getting up there about 6pm to check out the inside and do preliminary sound setup.

The only person out of all of you I would remotely recognize would be noclevername. I will likely be filming from near the stage handheld. Feel free to introduce yourself while I'm not filming

Links to audio/video samples will be posted in this thread, and a torrent thread posted on the General section when the full thing is finished. It likely won't be the best recording you've seen or heard, but here's hoping for something better than El Torreon.

Did this still happen? 'cause that would be fucking TIGHT!!!
