Why the hell do the Germans get this information before we do? Haha.
it's funny because when i first heard about dredg and knew nothing about them for some reason i thought they were german or something. this way back 7 years ago or so, when all i had heard was some of leitmoif.
yeah, i made quite the jump. just went off the lyrical content of the song. the ocean and the bay are constantly at odds, the ocean ebbing and flowing.
i want it to work. i like that little piece.
i was thinking that might have been how you came to that conclusion.
i hope you're right. it's short and simple, but powerful
i think that it is the same song. we will see. that song is too good and was apparently worked on too much for it to not be on the album.
Where does the parrot come in?! If you're saying that Pariah and Delusion may be the same song, then by logic the title of the album came from that song? Hmm.
lightswitch, i think is in the beginning of leaflet 2. the one that goes "to get into heaven, we're told to sit in a corner..."
drummerjs added 0 Minutes and 58 Seconds later...
I agree with this, mainly because the dredg website background has light switch lyrics which are very similar to that song: http://dredg.com/images/background.jpg
"you're the only thing I need
whether I fail or succeed
within my blindness, you are all I see
in a dark place with no light switch
an open without a stitch
maybe now, you will understand"
At :30 in leaflet 2 he sings:
"you're the only thing I need
and you've become the only thing
that keeps me breathing, without you I'd be..."
-cut off-
I can easily see it go into "...in a dark place with no light switch" from there.

right. not sure how the parrot fits into the whole thing.
