Weren't they playing some pretty good ball to start the season?
Yes! It was so exciting, especially considering this year was expecting to be a crap year anyway (with next year being our first chance at actually contending, based on talent). They got my hopes up, only for them to be crushed like so many seasons passed.

Well, it is the Nats.... I would like to see the Rox play spoiler. I do not have much hope, but I love them. There is so much talent on that team. We just need pitchers....again...before Tulo and CarGo retire....
I wish the Braves could say "Well, it's the Nats". They always seem to have our number.

That's what happens when half your team is Braves outcasts.

What the Rox need is a Bullpen overhaul. Our bullpen is so overwhelmingly mediocre, inconsistent, and unreliable. The only reason Street has such a good save percentage, is because any time we win, we usually win by a large margin so the saves require just not giving up seven runs.
How many dredg fans does it take to change a lightbulb?

Seven. One to change it, five to complain that the old one was better, and one talk about Gavins weight.

But it's the altitude that makes them suck! ::yawn::

I agree. A lot of people need to go. The Monforts always claim that they are willing to spend the money to get good players. Clearly not.

Unless he's pitching 3 innings, he's not getting a save then...

Oh, and I can totally explain the save rules if needed.

I understand the save rules, but it's not always a one run game in street's save situations. we just need to get rid of Ian Stewart and Ryan Spilborghs. People who O'dowd can't let go of because they used to be sick.

                    ...what is an O'dowd?

I liked Miguel Olivo, or even Yorvit. Why couldn't we keep Yorvit?

                      Nice, what was his name?

Have you been to a game at Kaufman? I love that stadium. Its a great place to enjoy an MLB game.

Miguel Olivo was the sickest. So much effort and talent. I'll always remember last year him getting a basehit off of a routine groundball because he sprinted and dove headfirst into the bag. So awesome. Chris Ianetta is ok.

haha and O'dowd is the GM of the rockies.

                          Fail. So much fail.

I remember Olivo digging it out. Dude was (is?) hardcore.

And yes. I've been to at least 1 every year with work, and then a few more here and there.

I still need to visit lots of stadiums. Seen games in Atlanta and KC (duh), plus Tampa Bay (x2), St Louis, Baltimore, Toronto and in Cleveland's old stadium.
