I second the exercise comment. I don't run trails but it's part of my workout on a treadmill. Down here we have some awesome hiking trails but running them is almost certain death.
i hike and bike all the time. However I need to get back into running. I'm not terribly out of shape, but i'm afraid i'm losing that running endurance.
I don't exercise. I like being ultra skinny. And my motabolism keeps me in shape... And all the walking and the lowrider... That thing is murder on hills!
-I used to Run 5-6 days a week. These days I only do 3 or so days, but I run probably 4 miles. At my peak, I was running 20-30 miles a week back in March/April

I've lost 87 since the holidays last year. Topped out at 355, most current weight is 268. Portion control + strength training + staying active as often as possible. Ain't no secret how to lose weight, we all know what should be done.
Congrats on that work man. I've been going to a gym regularly for a month and a half now I lost 20 pounds before that so I was down to 220 when I started. After that first month I haven't lost weight but I dropped body fast from 20% to 16% the measurements I got where pretty awesome for just one month. And Cribble, I have a friend like you. All I can say is that when a famine hits, y'all are going first.
