Eh... I realize it's ignorant, but I feel if you're going to be a patron and/or citizen of a country, you should be respectful and learn to speak the language as clearly as you can. If I went over to Mexico, and they said "Habla Espanol, chingado!", I don't think I'd be that offended.

absolutly. but to shove it in your face...it's unnessary. i wouldn't be offended by someone telling me to speak spanish for food. but i would be confused about a sign that said that they weren't serving to anyone who spoke english.
