ouch . . . there are a lot of overrrated bands, but radiohead is not one of them.  they back up their praise with incredible & boundary pushing music.

I never liked Radiohead until my senior year when I discovered "OK Computer."

I listened to that gem in all its glory for like a year straight.

See i didn't like Radiohead til i listened to The Bends. That album is good. And sort of introduced me nicely to what was to come. Ok, i'll admit i don't like all their stuff. Can't win them all though i guess.

My favorite is Weird Fishes/Arpeggi. It has that sort of undefinable trippy quality that Radiohead has always been able to produce.

I like this album but it's not the radical departure from its predecessor that all of their other ones were.  A lot of these songs could have easily been on HTTT.  On the other hand, HTTT was pretty awesome so I'm not complaining.

A lot of people seem to think otherwise.. That this is a big step away from HTTT.

I think it's different enough from their previous works to be interesting

I wasn't a huge fan of HTTT nor Amnesiac. On the other hand, Kid A is one of my favorite records of all time, and OK Computer and Bends are up there too. I'm enjoying the new stuff and find it quite a bit different from HTTT, thankfully. Reckoner, Videotape, Nude, Arpeggi... all good stuff. Don't think it will quite beat out Oceansize or Fair to Midland for record of the year, though.
