I think think both if not at least one of those recordings are in the pool of songs for the new record. I know they talked about doing b-side, unreleased recordings album of sorts around the time of the live record, (initially that was supposed to be a live cd/dvd combo) but both obviously never came to fruition. Redrawing the Island Map was definitely re-recorded during the el cielo sessions and I have often wondered what other recordings from those sessions and the cwa sessions they have tucked away. I'm sure they have a stockpile of stuff to pick from. I often speculated that they have a whole album's worth of material (at least in demo form) that they were sitting on before they actually actually recorded ppd. I am really hoping that the box set (surely vinyl?) won't be the only way to get the leitmotif and el cielo represses. Assuming that's what it's all about.
