Try using a 'proxy' to make the website think you're living in Germany...

Most scripts don't work under proxy though (ie, Flash Objects).

I haven't ripped it, I recorded my pc screen with that tool which makes promotion in the upper left corner of the video.
( Damit kannst du deinen Bildschirm aufnehmen, auch bestimmte Bereiche, ZD Recorder heißt das Dingen )

jeah in german the same... Nearly every music video is unviewable on youtube for us germans because of the 'Gema'.... stupid: Music Videos mainly are for promotional use, so where better to watch then on youtube and how often you want? The best promotion existing.

Artist's do get royalties from it though... which YouTube have to pay. Harsh, but fair enough really.
