my hopes are that potentially dredg learned from the last time they released a record and are holding stuff back before they try it out live. they have a dedicated taper community that they are now much more familiar with and although all of the tapers are quite respectful of what the band wants heard and what not, it's still difficult to keep things all the way under wraps, especially when denying the tapers the ability to release their high quality recordings only leaves space for the random person recording 1/3 of a song on their cellphone. speaking entirely out of my ass and with a hint of uninformed yet tentative optimism, I still think they got some cats in the bag.
YES! That has been my state of mind about current, past, future shows. I know we haven't heard the best of the best. Any great band in their right mind would never let the best ideas be heard until it's been released officially. Don't get me wrong, all the stuff we have heard is magic, but i still believe we haven't even got into the belly of the beast yet.

I mean that, for example, Ireland and Wondrous Miracle we had the chance to hear it in live version on dredg gigs and in demo form that Drew played on radio interview.
And some 1:30 minute demos were posted on dredg's myspace many months ago. The songs were Push Away, Quotes and Holding A Remedy Potion.
that probably is too much to ask, but you handled it well.
well some of you probably have all or most of these songs, but aret not willing to post the links. that's fine. i only have a few of them, i started to burn a cd of them, then realized i only had 4 or 5 songs. but i know the others ones have been available because i heard them somehow.
