I had my own drunk jackass experience in Memphis during the CWA tour. Unfortunately, the douche rode to Memphis with a good friend of mine, so he was around us the whole night. We partook with Drew before the show, and this guy (#1 Fan from Baton Rouge) wouldn't shut up about how awesome his own band was the whole time. I think Drew really appreciated me busting his balls, though.
Eventually, the show started, this cock snagged a joint from my friend, handed it to some guy to light it, then start trying to hand it to Drew. This consisted of yelling "Drew! Drew! Drew!" repeatedly from about 2 feet in front of him while he was playing with his effects during either 90 Hour Sleep or Walk in the Park. Can't recall which right now. It was just irritating during such a quiet, moody interlude. To this day, any time his name is mentioned I start with "Drew! Drew! Drew!"
I don't have the time it takes to recover from the day
I sit and moan and mope and groan and never have my say
A crown of thorns from which is born a little baby bird
To fly away and have its day is nothing but absurd
Another funny thing about that day: The guy argued with me for 20 minutes that the aluminum bottle made his light beer colder. I distinguished that it will get colder faster, but hotter faster, as well. This argument didn't fly. The television told him otherwise. Just ignore the fact that I am a mechanical engineer who specializes in heat transfer. It was like arguing with a cardiologist about what constitutes coronary artery disease.

I need to check this out from home. No youtube at work, so I haven't seen the videos yet. I'm going to try to find one of the Number 1 Fan From Baton Rouge.
I'll never stop looking for new music but I find the older I get, the less new music appeals to me and the more I end up going back to older stuff. I think everyone has that decade of music that they could really relate to. For me, it was the 90s...

I don't look for new or old music. I kind of just let it find me. I prefer it that way. I don't feel like I'm forcing myself to like certain things. It's all about being in the right setting and mood when you first hear it.
