Well, it did end sort of bad for me. I got some evil Warner claims over the Orph EP and Conscious EP stuff I had on my channel. It was disabled in the end. Anyways, I'm glad with what I got out of the situation. Now I can keep in touch with him, if he decided to do so lol
really? does warner really have the rights to those? i understand them not wanting new people stumbling upon those as their first dredg experience, but it doesn't seem like they would have the authority. perhaps they were just posturing, or maybe it was mark under a different screen name...did you get a warner representative to send a similar picture?
I don't know about Warner having the rights to their older music. As far as I'm concerned, they were unsigned back then, and dredg should hold the exclusive rights to the music they created before going onto Interscope (which isn't even part of Warner's brand). I got the message from Youtube, not Mark. The message said something along the lines of copyright infringement, and was tagged in red. I got Mark's message from "kramselgne"'s channel. Seems right to me. Mark's picture was sent by personal e-mail.
