Sometimes. But more often not. These laws are ancient; the current judges didn't write them. Sometimes they'll overthrow them, sometimes not.

But plenty of lawyers who are conservative will vote according to the constitution. Our most recently retired Supreme Court Judge did it all the time.

Honestly, I can respect that. I don't have much trust in laws, or lawmakers for that matter. But I have more faith in more lawmakers being true to the Constitution than I do, say, "Pete the asshole from Pawtucket."

I don't trust any governing entity, the problem with the nation at this point is that the government as a whole has too much control over our situation as states, I say leave it up to the states to make and govern their own laws rather than the people in D.C. making a blanket law and having their lap dogs patrol us.
