Still same job. Last day is Tuesday. I thought since I was getting let go that things would at least be calmer and there would be less stress. Nope. He's letting go a bunch of people and it's not his fault. They way it was explained to me, the EDD is to blame for me losing my job. However, my boss is a paranoid little girl. He got word that someone isn't happy, and he snapped. He started telling everyone that we betrayed his trust, we're talking shit behind his back, we're a bunch of snakes and his feelings are hurt.
I hate that guy. We're talking about a job. I'm not your best friend. I don't need you as a friend, you're here to be my boss. He never even told us what he had heard or who he heard it from. He's just crying like a little girl. So, I had to sit through 3 fucking meetings, once amongst my department with everyone basically saying "Whoever is talking shit, shut the fuck up. I want to get laid off in peace." The second was with our immediate boss who didn't know what was going on and we had to fill him in. He pretty much felt the same way as us, he should be more of an adult and stop acting like a child. The last one was Tad saying he's sorry without ever actually saying "I'm sorry."
So my Friday was filled with bullshit. At this point, I don't even want to work there anymore. So very tired of his crap.

EDIT: I've found a couple of places already and I have interviews set up for next year. I'll be fine. Just want to serve out my last days without anymore crying from my "superiors".Comment
