Been reading a lot of Chuck Klosterman's stuff lately; imo he's one of the great pop culture gurus of our time.

Klosterman is one of my favorites.

Love the Walking Dead too.

Other than a lot of technical books, in the past couple of weeks I've read:
Post Office by Bukowski,
Surely You're Joking Mr Feynman (recommend this book to everyone! The man is a legend and an inspiration)

And am now reading Three Men And A Boat (To Say Nothing Of The Dog). Which is a pretty good comedy book written a little over a century ago

Why? It had a diet plan that actually worked fairly well before I took a couple of weeks off and just couldn't get motivated to start back.

It is fantastically messed up. I should finish it up within the coming days. Next I might try Chew or Cowboys and Aliens.

Timothy Ferris is a known scam artist. His claims of what you'll get from reading the book are completely bizarre.

There is some sound advice in that book (the guy does know something about dieting as he used to be a (fairly shitty) martial artist before he went into the con business), but reading something from a guy that isn't known to be an all out bullshitter would probably have done you a lot better.

Damn, it's been almost a year since this thread was bumped. read moar, guys.

Just finished Infinite Jest after 3 months of struggle. I'm reading Wallace's published works in anticipation for 'Pale King', and only have BIWHM, Broom of The System and GWCH left to go.

A Dance with Dragons, because I am a nerd like that. I read Infinite Jest, found it as cumbersome to read as any Pynchon novel, who is his main influence I believe. Not a bad book though. RIP Wallace.
