AND from the same genre. The whole indie hip-hop scene has been neglected from radio for yrs (that is until the group decides to 'dumb it down'). It's painful to watch a mediocre hip hop act make it this far while other groups/acts go unnoticed despite yrs of hard work. So I completely understand the hostility toward this song.

...here is the Flobots performing "Handlebars" on Carson Daily. Pretty good performance. But what I was most impressed with is the fact that I didn't realize that the band was a seven piece rap group. I just figured that everything was just samples like most rap music.

Even though this performance just proved them (to me) to be more like Linkin Park than I had previously knew... I just gained some more respect for them. The "rapper" could easily pull of the same song with more then half of the band members being replaced by one DJ...

They are touring with Doomtree in July. It will be easy for people to equate Doomtree to P.O.S.'s hip hop crew but there's much more going on.
