Looks like the guys moved to Chicago..are playign Coachella..working on a new album and fwiw (not much to me) they are going on tour to support Brand New.
Ok, not really... but we DID move to Chicago and watch it happen with some ecstatic friends...
So where are we? It has been a good long while, hasn't it? There is much to announce so I'll get crackin'.
First of all, we are working on a new record. The people of Chicago's Berry UMC have granted our band a residency to practice in their building and we are very grateful for the friendship and community that they have extended! Things are off to a past-paced start and we're all very excited about the direction of the new sounds.
Second, you will be able to hear some of these new little ditties (assuming that they're in working order) if you choose to grace us with your presence at one of our upcoming February engagements. See the myspace for details.
Third, we have two very special engagements that we would like to announce. The first is that we've been asked to play at the Calvin Faith and Music conference alongside Neko Case, Emmylou Harris, and Sufjan Stevens. The event takes place over the last weekend of March. We are doing our best to prepare something really special for the occasion. Also, we were added to this year's Coachella Festival in Southern California. The official line-up was just released followed by an Anathallo synced jaw dropping... Bjork, Gillian Welch, Rufus Wainwright, Grizzly Bear... you get it.
Fourth, in the wake of their new record, "The Devil and God are Raging Inside Me," we will be main support for Brand New throughout their all-over Canadian jaunt in May. We really look forward to getting to know them and hearing their new music live! Also on the tour will be long-time friends, Colour Revolt. It should make for a really unique bill. We're very excited about visiting our Northern Neighbors again. Dates are being added as we speak, some are already on sale. Hope to see you there!

they posted a blog today announcing the title of their upcoming album to be "Canopy Glow"
and they uploaded a new song that's to be on it called "Noni's Field"..song has been played live for awhile, but I don't believe the studio version has ever been made available.
