  • To anyone who has seen dredg on TOC...

I started this before they joined the tour, but anyway...

Are any members at the merch table?

I would love to get some stuff autographed for my apartment and I was wondering if anyone from band goes to the merch table to meet fans. I know A Static Lullaby did last year just because I talked to their singer afterwards b/c he mentioned small bar here they used to play at while they were on stage at TOC.

Or, during previous tours in the last few months, did dredg hang out at the merch table at all? Thanks.

When I saw them at the House of Blues in Atlantic City, I said a quick hello to Drew at the table, and watched Dino airdrumming to Co&Ca while sitting on the table.

As is evidenced by the other responses...

Yes, if you are near the merch table throughout the show, the chances are astronomically in your favor that you will see at least one or two of the members.

Your second best bet is the bar, if there is one.

dredg is the easiest band in the world to meet after a show. they always hang out at the venue. whether they open or headline, they are always easily accessible before and after a show. gavin is the only one that sometimes goes off and does his own thing.

I just got home about 2 hours ago from their first date on the tour in Dayton. They did come out, all four of them, to sign stuff at a merch table. Gavin chatted up people in the line for a minute, and gave my friend a hug. They were all as kind as can be expected for a bunch of guys that have to sit around signing crap for an hour.

they weren't at there merch table, but they did a signing at the smartpunk booth.
and i agree they were the nicest band there, and deff. put on the best show.

there set was short, but if i remember correctly it was:
                  ode to the sun,
                  bug eyes,
                  same ol' road
                  jamis vu
and i think they played the tanbark is hot lava... but don't hold me to it

                  Added after 2 minutes:

oh yea and they were walkign around the place quite often i saw dino like 50 times, and i saw mark in the line for beer

Yeah, but unfortunately there will always be the one or two people who will ruin the show for those who occupy the area next to those loud obnoxious idiots. What will upsets me is that they almost always are wearing Tool paraphernalia. (I am not saying that all Tool fans are loud obnoxious idiots, but Tool does seem to have a large amount those kinds of fans.)

re: To anyone who has seen dredg on TOC...

                            Just got back from Milwaukee.

                            They played:

                            Ode to the Sun
                            Same Ol' Road
                            Bug Eyes
                            Sang Real
                            Tanbark
                            Yatahaze

Crowd took a while to warm up to them, but at the end they had won everyone over spectacularly.
At their signing the line to see them was ridiculously long. I mean, really, it was like a mile long.

                              Sounds good!!

I'm heading up to St. Paul to see them tonight! Can't wait!

Haven't seen them since 2002 when I was there with about 15 other people in this bar in Iowa City!
