  • 12/3/2005 Vevey, Switzerland review

I was there last Saturday, it was so great !!!!

    Here was the Setlist :

    Ode To The Sun
    Same Ol'Road
    Sanzen
    New Heart Shadow
    Catch Without Arms
    Not That Simple
    Zebraskin
    Jamais Vu
    The Tanbark is Hot Lava
    Stone By Stone
    Sang Real
    Bug Eyes
Wind At The End (Really I can't remember if they really played this interlude)
    Of The Room
    The Canyon Behind Her
    Yatahaze / Movement V : 90 Hr Sleep / Outro

I found the setlist great and quite surprising by the fact they played Zebraskin and Stone by stone ! To introduce this last one they talked about a song spread on the internet and a guy shout "Fuck Internet " etc... and Gavin : "... this kinda place were you can find mainly pornography"... He was quite funny this night and tried to joke with the fact that his jack couldn't stop electrify him !!
You can see the setlist taken from Gavin table at the end of the show (accompanied by 1 of is pick and a used Dino's stick ... Hum I was lucky this night :P ) here ...

(Unfortunately they cancelled Hungover On a Tuesday & Triangle  and 10 minutes more could have been great ... but I'm so happy anyway)

I had problems with my camera but here are some pics I could save from it ....

The penguin cuddly toy in front of drums

    Gavin

    Drew

    Mark

    and from my mobile phone...

    Dino

    Gavin

    Mark

Send me a PM or email if you wish to get some of this pics in high quality !

Sorry my english, I'm just a motivated french fan

Hey, Mark. Thanks a lot for the review and pictures. Sounds like it was a great time. Glad you enjoyed it and got some souvenirs . Nice setlist, too. Thanks again!

I'm glad to share my first dredg experience (and not the last one I hope...) until they come back but it will be much later, after a 4th LP :?:

Anyway, I found Zebraskin really better in live, and Mark uses this strange pedal (at his hands height) with a floyd with so special sound, have you got further informations about this ?

Drew and Mark have cut their hair .... why do they choose winter for this ? lol

I just saw great pictures for this show there : (Verdana is first part of the show) http://www.deftonesreview.net/v3/review_031205.htm
They are definitely worth to check !!!

During Verdana, the crowd wasn't really excited but I found it quite good and I found some (not all of them though) were really interesting !! I couldn't tell which cause I don't really know them. My girlfriend enjoyed it more than me also !

Anyway the crowd liked it cause everyone applaused at the end of songs and especially at the end of their performance (about 40 mins ?)

It was cool to have a first part show cause some of shows during this tour haven't any (Paris for example)
