I had a fucking blast. New song is somewhat decent but it was Codeseven's performance that was my highlight. Also Circa Survive's fans are borderline insane.

What is wrong with people? Booing Codeseven? Orlando truly does suck.

I'm not surprised. Some Circa fans clearly gravitate towards more aggressive music and are a bit close-minded to other genres of music (I overheard a guy go, "ugh, can't we just skip dredg?")

Which is funny, since Circa is one of the least aggressive bands I listen to.

I don't get it either. But I saw plenty of Every Time I Die and Dance Gavin Dance t-shirts.

It's also funny considering dredg is one of Circa's major stylistic influences. AG has a fucking CWA tattoo for God's sake. I am a Circa fan, and love that band to death but their fans can be huge cunts and it's kind of embarrassing.

One of my best friends was at this show. Said he had a great time.

From his facebook here's the setlist, not necessarily in order: set list was bug eyes, jiame vu, same old road, ode to the sun, pariah, Savior, light switch, and they finished with down in the cellar. And "Upon Returning" somewhere in there too. Plus he can't spell "Jamais Vu."

Seven. One to change it, five to complain that the old one was better, and one talk about Gavins weight.

They're pretty legit but I don't expect a majority of their fans would be taken by Codeseven's slow moving song structure and synth-rock atmosphere.

Not to say that the SF crowd was disrespectful, it seemed everyone was into all the bands (particularly Circa of course). I get more and more surprised by the size of their fanbase every time I see them.

                          Nice pics, kata.

Gavin's hair reminds me of Bob Ross. When I was a little kid, I vividly remember my father saying "God lives behind those mountains" in referring to one of the paintings in our rec room. Not sure if it's a Bob Ross painting or not, but after Image Googling "Bob Ross", it sure as hell looks like it could be...

Did Codeseven play more from early era, The Rescue-era or Dancing Echoes?
