09/27 HOB roll call

I know that Tool712 will be there, but I thought I'd throw this out there to see if anyone else will be at tonight's show. I'll be the girl wearing a red shirt with a butterfly on it, and you will most likely find me at the bar doing car bombs after dredg's set.

First of all...couldn't do the car bombs (no shot glasses!!). I can't remember the exact set list because I'm awful with stuff like that, but I can tell you that they really only played CWOA songs, opened with Ode to the Sun, followed by Bug Eyes. They also did play Same 'Ol Road, and the curtain closed on Dino playing the keyboards after the drum takedown. The crowd seemed really into them, and I did talk to some kids behind me who had never seen them before, but were really excited about their set. I had some horny teens next to me dry humping each other for most of the set, but otherwise it was incredible. They have a whole bunch of new shirts, but I didn't see any prints for sale (although I may have just missed them).

After we checked into our room, we realized that we could see the tour buses from our window. Saw Dino in the hallway a few hours before the show, but didn't have the balls to say anything to him. Tried to talk to Drew for like 5 minutes, but I was a little drunk, and not making sense. I kept apologizing for bothering him, and I think I really confused him. I then kept seeing him in the casino, but I didn't want to make a bigger ass of myself.

As far as the other bands were concerned, mewithoutyou were PHENOMENAL, Coheed was pretty decent, and Blood Brothers....well I don't know, because after hearing half of their first song, we wound up going back to our hotel room to drink, before going back for Coheed.

Tool712 - I'm completely jealous of you for working at HOB - that place is really cool, and my friends and I had a great time. Too bad we had such awful luck at the casino!

Hahahahahahahaha. Awesome.

I'm the same way, too, though. Dino was basically 3 steps in front of me on 8-25, and my insides froze.

Sorry I missed you medallia. I was front row balcony and went down a few times, but you never IMed me prior to look for you. Blood Brothers were HORRIBLE.

If only you were still here, I'm at work tonight, you could stop by...but I doubt yuo are.

Yeah, I left about 2:00 today. I didn't have internet/e-mail access for most of yesterday and today. I was in the 2nd row for mewithoutyou and dredg, and then took off for a little while. During Coheed's set, I was off on the right side, not too far from the merch tables. I'll let you know the next time I'm at the HOB...it's a possibility that I may make an appearance at the Senses Fail/Saves the Day show, since I'm flying back into AC airport that weekend.

Yes. Shirts only. Posters and prints haven't arrived yet to the merch guy.

Quite a few designs I've never seen, but that's not to say they are new.

Devangel, Forest, and a few others, but I can't remember them all right now.

When I asked about the shirts, Derek said that they were new designs that they got in time for the start of this tour. I picked up the gray one, which had some sort of flowery design and "dredg" written a bunch of times around the design in script. I also remember seeing a red shirt, and I thought I saw a shirt that said "bug eyes" on it, but I can't remember specifics.
