Why anyone would trust megaupload with their files is beyond me. It should've been pretty obvious to anyone who's even looked at the site, that that shit was pretty damned sketchy.
Sucks that other filehosts are overreacting though. I don't really think any other filesharing service should be concerned, if it actually complies with dmca takedown requests, instead of faux complying like MUComment

They've been going after torrent sites. Same problem, though. Take 1 down, 10 new ones appear in its place.
File sharing isn't going anywhere. It's been something done on the internet practically since inception and as much as the Goverment (rather big business, really) wants it to end, it won't. They'd have to shut the internet down entirely.Comment

Shutting Napster, Suprnova, OiNK, Megaupload and countless other services down didn't stop file sharing. People will just find other places to do it.Comment
