If Pittsburgh wins, I'm going to start a petition to get rid of all the current referees in the NFL, and only 12 year olds can make calls. They'd require much lower salaries and would make the same bogus calls. True, that wouldn't help the issue of bad calls, but it would save us money without having to switch to Geico.

The mere thought that a club team could be world champion is absurd.

The car thing was funny. They did thta with the nhl all-star mvp too. That was a boring Honda, even. He immediately announced that his brother and father would be fighting over it. I wonder how much cash the nfl got to give him that car.

i am not so sure it is plausible in american-football, but it is certainly plausible in other sports--e.g., baseball, hockey, basketball, and, of course, soccer.

Agreed.

Though for hockey, it is generally the best players from other countries. And basketball I would bet the US team would win. But I will give you baseball. And I doubt the MLS calls it's championship anything involving "world"
