Naw, I've already got your QB. Thanks...

Man, tough loss for the Falcons tonight. I was pretty sure that Drew Brees was going to throw that game away. His sudo Brett Favre flips were getting out of hand...
...hopefully somehow the Panthers beat the Falcons (among other things) and the Bears can sneak into the #1 seed in the NFC... (not happenin)

Not going to happen. The Saints are going to put it on Tampa Bay next week. So either the Saints or Falcons will be the 1. A bye would be nice, but I wouldn't mind playing the Rams. That has to be the worst team to ever make the playoffs.
Who Dat!?!
I don't have the time it takes to recover from the day
I sit and moan and mope and groan and never have my say
A crown of thorns from which is born a little baby bird
To fly away and have its day is nothing but absurd
he has become a QB in chicago. in denver, he was a whiny, immature little kid, who often passed blame onto others. payton manning doesn't do it, and neither does tom brady. also, don't compare yourself to the best QB in a franchise's history and then completely flop. it will be interesting to see how it goes, and, if he gets upset, see how he acts again. sadly, though, i think this styling of QBs, who throw temper tantrums when they don't get what they want, will be here to stay. it almost makes the game unbearable to watch. except, maybe, tim tebow, but his constant use of his faith as a shield makes me sick. contrary to tebow's thinking, god could care less about who wins in the NFL.
now, if it were college, god does care about notre dame, which just shows you how impotent god is.

I'm thankful for Drew Brees.

Saints gave us one in the Superdome, we gave them one in the Georgia Dome.
The Falcons didn't "give" anything. Their offense was straight up shut down against the Saints. They put up a total of 7 points. I like the Saints chances if they rematch in the playoffs.

Yes, pass interference and a fumble at the goal line by one of the best handed RBs is the only thing that kept Falcons from winning. Just like the Hartley miss in NO.
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank (*cringes) the Packers and Vikings (my two most hated foes) for helping the Bears clinch a first round bye this week. Now, if ATL and NO can lose week 17....
ATL and NO aren't losing... That'd be awesome though... But first round bye? Yeah, that's awesome... AND if the Bears beat the Packers sunday they knock the Packers out of the playoffs. How sweet would that be? Sweep the Pack and send 'em home? I'm down...
