Re: Karnivool And Fair To Midland Planning U.S. Tour Together For March/April
I've never really listened to Karnivool, but Fair to Midland is definitely a band I'd go see.
I don't have the time it takes to recover from the day
I sit and moan and mope and groan and never have my say
A crown of thorns from which is born a little baby bird
To fly away and have its day is nothing but absurd

agreed. fair to midland puts on a really great live show. i kinda lost interest in them for awhile, but i downloaded 4 new songs of theirs, and i think i like them better than all their previous work.
If you haven't heard already, Dallas based band Fair To Midland hit a road bump on their westward tour over the weekend when their 15 passenger bus rolled into the Arizona desert (about 9 times) after blowing a tire. Needless to say, their bus was completely demolished, and one of the band members was air-lifted to the hospital (he's doing fine now). Plus all of their equipment on board was destroyed.
There are a few benefit shows lined up which will hopefully recoup some of the losses of the accident (medical bills, equipment, new bus) So here's what you can do:
Come out to The Boiler Room Thursday, February 4, 2010 for the Fair To Midland Benefit Show featuring Fair To Midland, Trebuchet and Nothing More. This show is going to be awesome and all proceeds will go to Fair To Midland's "keep on rocking fund".
Glad they're okay obviously, but it sucks about their gear. If I lived in Texas I'd be going to some of those shows.
