Pretty much. You can't even have peaceful, quiet protests cause some douche bag will show up with a rock screaming "Fuck the police!" with his favorite Rage Against the Machine t-shirt on. And this will be a beacon for other mouth breathers to take something that might have a meaningful message that would have been conveyed calmly and turn it into a violent warning thats shoved down your throat.

Something more protesters need to realize: Nobody likes having shit forced on them. Doesn't matter who you are or what you represent. If you're screaming at me, I'm less likely to take you seriously.
