Can't you just do it like we we do? Pay 33% of your salary in taxes and then you have free healthcare. Insurance is fucking crap.

Yes, but there are some of us already paying 33%. Then there are others paying 25% and getting insurance for free through work. Try convincing them that they should now pay 8% more in taxes to get what they already have.

Well, my insurance isn't "free". It's subsidized by the company a bit, but I still pay. But knowing corporations, if they didn't have to offer it, few would raise salaries.

i do not pay anywhere near 25%. i think i pay around the 10% mark. mostly because i am a student still.
