old news..i think?

So this may be old news for some..may not work for others..however..i typed my phone number in google...clicked on map...however i always played around with google earth and what not..but since when do they have a straight up image of your home..dead and center..the picture is relatively old so it isn't new news...but idk...kinda random and creeped me out.
