    Hey Biber. Thank you for this suggestion. So, this seems obvious, but I'll ask anyway. Anything I have on there, I should remove because formatting would automatically delete it, correct?

          Does anyone have a money program they he likes? Something that keeps track of finances and balances checking accounts?

          My new computer has Microsoft Works, but nothing else. I'd kind of gotten attached to the Microsoft Money program that came with my last computer, and haven't really found a good substitute so far. GnuCash seems OK, but I wonder if any of you can recommend something better?

            Uhh, I just look at online banking and don't spend more than I have. I keep my consistent monthly expenditures on a piece of paper on my desk.
