Hard to say really...I could say a bit of Pelican, a bit of Russian Circles, but then I don't think they fall neatly into a 'post..anything' pidgeonhole. I'd just say tight, heavy instrumental rock .

my best reference would be Battles meet, Deftones. Though that's lofty praise, the heavy parts just remind me of Deftones, as far as tone and just overall ability to rock with, then the techy clean parts are Battles, then the other band I would compare it too is The Jezebel Spirit if any of you have heard of them. Fucking amazing prog rock band, kind like first album FNY without vocals... but yeah.... soo good, still soooo impressed by this record... quality work...
