What have you been playing?

Lately, I've been into Mercenaries 2, Braid, and I've been giving World of Warcraft another shot, even though I still don't have time to play it the way it's supposed to be played (life crushing).

Played a lot of games this weekend: Rock Band 2, Mega Man 9, Bankshot Billiards 2, Bourne Conspiracy, Scene It: LCA and I gave Shadow of the Colossus another spin.

You know, everyone said that when I started game testing that I'd play video games a lot less. Yeah, that's so very untrue.

how was Bourne Conspiracy? I played the demo, but never checked it out further. I'm loving Mega Man 9 as well. More games need 8-Bit style sequels.

I play whatever my laptop can run, which lately has been Portal, Painkiller, Sim City 2000 (\m/), and now I'm downloading Devil May Cry 3.

If anyone have anything they'd recommend from around 2002-2005 don't hesitate to tell me.

Portal is great. If it runs well, the rest of the Source engine games (Half Life 2 and all the episodes it has out, Team Fortress 2) should run just as well, and they are all awesome games.

I love Portal... I'm playing thru Half-Life 2 for the first time currently, as well as GTAIV on Xbox360, and working my way thru the Prince Of Persia series and Final Fantasy XII, having just acquired my friend's PS2.

Suggesting HL2 to a guy who have played Portal seems a bit too obvious don't you think

have you played Lost Odyssey on the 360? It's a much better Final Fantasy game than the last few Final Fantasy games have been, imo.

Bournce Conspiracy isn't bad. Obviously not a genre defining game or anything, but it's a pretty nifty beat 'em up. Looks really nice too.

I'm just waiting on Fable 2 and Gears of War 2 to come out. Until then, lots of Bionic Commando Rearmed and I've been playing through the first Halo (I want to beat it on my 360).

it's definitely worth that if you're into the genre. i ended up buying it, but I got stuck so I haven't touched it in a while.
