I downloaded it whenever it leaked and have still yet to beat it... VERY fun game.

Does it live up to it's hype. NO!!!

Is it a super fun game. YES!!!

Seriously. The first 4 out 5 stages takes only half the time. Once you hit the space stage, it take EASILY twice the amount of time to beat it that it took to get there...

My issue with Spore is that it's 5 separate levels that are dumbed down versions of much better games that already exist. It's like a sampler of really good games.

You're right... But it's still a game...

Play the game from start to finish and tell me it's not fun. I've yet to finish the game and I feel that way...

...the biggest thing that will hurt Spore is it's the biggest hyped game of all time. Obviously it will not live up to it's hype...

It's a fun game non-the-less...

Stage 1: Really any good arcade game.
Stage 2: Any good action fighting game.
Stage 3: Age of Empires, Starcraft, etc
Stage 4: Civilization
Stage 5: World of Warcraft
