gonna download it today cause i read about the drm and I don't want it on my comp. I will download it and justify it by having purchased the game though I am curious if I will not be able to use the online function of the game having installed a pirated version? I will use my own serial number though.

The problem with downloading it is that you're going to miss out on one of the coolest aspects of it... YOU CAN'T GO ONLINE!!!

...you MIGHT be able to go online with your serial number as you mentioned though. I'd be curious to hear if that worked or not....
