New Different Music...

I just finished recording this and i'm really pleased with it (primarily as far as the structure goes..) kinda different than the stuff i've posted in the past

note: i realized the main riff kinda sounded like "jigsaw falling into place" by radiohead. that riff i've had for years and is probably more influenced by a Bends' era b-side "the trickster" the "verse" drum beat is somewhat intentionally borrowed though...(may or may not even be noticeable i suppose)

damn, war, this is good, can you give us a little more details about the recording process? I was wondering if you recorded w/a mic or went direct?

thanks, although the "cello" sound i got seems really fake to me but i gotta remind myself it's not a professional recording so it will be perfect on the real album....

I record all my guitar direct...i use a line6 vetta combo which has all the effects and stuff i use built-in. have seriously pondered trying mic recording to...maybe if i get a better room to record. but i use pro-tools to record everything into and arrange. i program all the drums (not a drummer so that's why they may not make sense at times) with Reason and all use a midi-controller to make any string/piano/ambient sounds.
