    Does anyone know Matt Mahaffey or the band SELF?

    I guess this may be a bit of a guess, but the fact he's from CA and does production and music in the more experimental vein, and came up close to around the time the dredg guys did, it just hit me maybe they or some dredg fans may know him.

      noclever..awesome!..I actually have not been able to hear everything by them yet..or even track much of their work down on cd yet. Altho I'm without question gonna purchase GIZMODGERY and BREAKFAST WITH GIRLS soon if I can find them for a reasonable price..would you perhaps be able to UP.. SUBLIMINAL PLASTIC MOTIVES or some of the others (I actually finally found HALF BAKED SERENADE last night..I need to play it more, but it was certainly a little different than those other 2 I heard).

      Curious, do you know his 1 of his other groups Wired All Wrong?

          sure thing. Whatever you can find, and whenever you have time, I'm all ears. Other than Apes and Androids, there's not another band I've listened to more over the last few weeks.

              a friend in college was big into Self back in '99/'00. I remember liking what I heard back then.
