  • Scratches on CDs

What do all of you use to repair CDs with scratches? Any recommendations? Any "don't buy this; it's a rip-off" warning?

Also, just out of curiosity, sometimes a CD will play perfectly fine on my computer, but skip on my stereo. Why is this?

      ??

OK, so is that what my Windows Media Player is? An mp3, right? But the CD still skips on my stereo.

      Ooga, I'm clueless.

turtle wax. rub a thick layer on there, let it dry, and then wipe it off with a soft cloth. thats what we used to do at the game store i worked at. toothpaste does the same thing if you have no turtle wax. they might not look much better, but they play better than they did.

I use CD's... I don't download music, strangely enough... OiNK vanished, so I didn't see the point anymore...

                          Re: Scratches on CDs

I'm way too lazy, and my cd collection is way too disorganized for me to bother with cd's anymore. It's faster for me, in this modern day and age, to go on to waffles.fm, and download the album i want to hear, than it is to dig through my cd collection and find the album and put it on my stereo
