It's like boxing... but on ice.
And despite best attempts, it does not exist in central or western Missouri.Twitter | Facebook | Rate Your Music

Re: HOCKEY! (NHL)
I actually really enjoy hockey, but I think it loses a lot of its excitement on television. Live games are a blast though. When my friends were in town a few weeks ago we saw the Phoenix Coyotes play the Dallas Stars, which was an unimportant game but a lot of fun.
I'll always be a Ducks fan I think.Originally posted by GnomadI think we're forgetting one huge factor in all of this.
Super God.Originally posted by auto-de-fedo you think we can get a sticky for this thread so that i can constantly be reminded how much of a dick theruleofthree is?

Re: HOCKEY! (NHL)
sharks indeed.
The only way they will win tho is if those pussies fight back. Every year they get ousted in the playoffs by someone who bullies them around. They have the talent they just need to enforce when one of their big stars is getting pushed around. But if you go by straight talent and skill of the game of hockey. Sharks have everyone beat. They just have to get over that physical hump.
And im glad someone finally made an NHL thread. i was going to but hockey is one of the those sports where you're not sure how many fans there are in certain parts of the world.Google "Nutsack" and see what kind of pictures come up

Re: HOCKEY! (NHL)
both are great.
Live hockey games are the best sport to watch live in my opinion. Great audience interaction, the game is always going full speed, and there usually isnt a bad seat in the house.
But watching hockey games on tv is also one of the best sports. Personally i think the best sport to watch on tv is football. But hockey is a close second for almost the same reason it rocks to watch live. The game is always going full speed, and (at least here in the bay area) the announcers are really great. And its almost like hockey is a tradition to all countries. Its one of the few sports that it gets world wide attention, as in any team in the draft can draft any player from around the world. Makes things more interesting.Google "Nutsack" and see what kind of pictures come up

Since the Blue Jackets can't win it all, I'm putting my money on Sid the Kid and the Penguins
