I'm not entirely sure any of the adaptions were great... lets just cherish the moments we read the book and out imaginations went a bit wild, pre-sugar rush.

wow... i cant believe my ears

i was an american bread child. Meaning that i didnt read the book, and yes it may be sacralige. But thats the way it is, and i cannot believe my ears. The original may have strayed way away from the book, but the story, the characters and all the things that came with the movie (the edible room, the fizzy lifting drink, the geese that laid the golden eggs, the songs, the boat ride) was 100% better than anything tim burton adapted. MOSTLY the oompa loompas, the new oompa loompas sucked the infection out of my chlamidia ridden peepee. The songs were HORRIBLE, not catchy at all. And i understand they stayed true to the book, blah blah blah blah. But it sucked. I understand everyone wants to go down on johnny depp, and if i had to pick the best part of that movie it would have been his portrayal. Although very different than gene wilders, it was good in its own respect.

And i dont see the pedofileness at all. I mean yes, he was most indubidubly off his rocker, but thats what willy wonka was supposed to be. And overall i say he did a better job than that Disney wannabe peice of crap.

im literally angry right now. haha.
