doesn't sound like anything special from those two songs.sigpic
We'll fuck standing and we'll fuck then lying, if they had wings we'll fuck them flying, when they are dead and long forgotten we'll dig them up and fuck them rotten.

ok, i've been able to listen to 3 different releases and i will say that while some of it might get old if you're not in the right mood that as a whole this is a band that's worth going back to. many of the tracks become more rewarding with repeat listens. i've also heard that they are an amazing live band and as with most bands i think seeing them live in april will really be able to clinch it for me.
one of the mogwai guys produced the album and was doing sound for them at a show that was recently audio taped.

01. Sweet Love For Planet Earth
02.
03.
04.
05. Bright Tomorrow
06.
Total time - 45min 41sec
Notes - Thanks to the band. The sound was mixed by John Cummings of Mogwai on the night, who produced the album also.
Track splits are fairly arbitrary - as of the 13th February 2008, the album hasn't been released yet. There's a couple of spots where the levels were maybe a bit too high, and you can hear a little distortion on the bass - this was my first time using this particular combination of gear. There's some stamping of feet too. Considering this was a performance by an unknown band, it's amazing the crowd response. People were getting euphoric.
It was excellent.

Additional comments from jadg2 on 2-13:
"Wow... ok, I saw Fuck Buttons last night and they were amazing. Truly incredible. They basically floored a local indie club, with some of the creme of the best local talent (Mogwai, Errors, Twilight Sad) watching.
They were so laid back as to be virtually horizontal about recording the live show - "yeah, yeah that's cool."
Strongly, strongly urge you to check out this band when they're playing with Caribou. They're gonna be big. If they're not, you'll still have seen an absolutely incredible live show."
