WOW, I know I've already said its good, but after several more listens I think its fucking awesome and I'll probably go out and buy it when its out in a few weeks.  I HIGHLY recommend it to anybody here.

yeah I really like it. I know a lot of people here really disliked them on the shows opening for dredg (his singing sucks, they look homeless, a bunch of other great comments etc.) and I know that this is a very cliched thing to say but this band has "grown". I caught a show on june 29th where I heard some of the new songs for the first time...they were great and that show got me even more excited for the album. Aaron joked about taking singing lessons for the album...he was serious and humble but you can tell that he has developed his vocal on this album. I'm not christian but I don't get hung up on not liking great bands who are. this fall/winter I think a lot of the haters will come around...

"Carousels" has that effect on people.   

This new record is awesome.  Definitely another step, but I think its absolutely beautiful.  I wish these guys nothing but success, which is ironic because they have to be some of the most non-materialistic men I've ever met.

i remember the denver show during the coheed tour. the lead singer kept on talking about how beautiful the mountains are and how lucky the people of denver were to be able to see the mountains every day. they crowd then complained about the smog and the singer once again reiterated the fact that still the mountains are there.

that performance blew me away and since then i have been a mwy fan.
