Your 15 song dredg live show

Well I have lurked around the forum for a while and havn't seen this topic up yet. And i searched for it too and didn't find it. Say dredg was playing for your birthday but only had enough time to play 15 songs for you and jet...what songs do you go with. This is your own personal show, so mood, song lineup...etc...all depends on YOU. Just have some fun with it..i will reply later with mine cause i'm tired...night!

It would open with The Ornament (without lyrics) and would segue nicely into Same ol' Road, followed by Sanzen, Id have that lead into some sort of random Dino piano solo from Waterborne, then Planting Seeds, followed by Jamais Vu which would then lead into "Marching Home" solo and have that lead into Bug eyes, then Ode, followed by Symbol Song, Whoa Is me, and then for the sheer sake of wanting to hear it, the orph instrumental which would lead into Canyon, Yatahaze and of course closing on 90 Hour. Doing this excercise makes you realise just how god damn good dredg are as it was difficult leavign allot of songs off, They could do a 15 song set excludng every song I mentioned and still deliver a kick ass show that offers something from every part of the emotional spectrum.

my list is vastly different now than from when i first posted it. originally i had quite a few more cwoa songs on my set list...but now, with all their recent touring, i feel like i've seen them perform those songs a lot...which makes sense...new material is more fun to play than older material...

so adding it up....

i think that's a fair distribution of their music. ask me again in a few months...i'm sure my set list will change.

A lot of my list is based on what I have seen and havn't seen live. I am from Montana and have missed quite a bit over the five or six years I have listened to dredg. My list does jump around from album to album though...unfortunately I don't know if it would be set up right or not. And like everyone else is saying...ask me in 30 minutes and without seeing this list I guarantee my 'new' list would be different. A "*" is a MUST see though...

I saw Movement V: 90 Hour Sleep once and they sped it up quite a bit at the end. I'd like them to do that again and leave me with a boner in my pants, again. I know its almost unfair to put "Any new material" up, but god damnit its my birthday. Plus one song isn't a stretch, even considering they have been playing a new one lately. So yeah, i'll take one new song, whatever it is they decide to play. The cover is the Disney song from Pocahantis (spelling?) that i would like to see them do with their own twist on it. I spent a lot of time thinking of one from the great bands of the past, and for some reason right when I was writing down my answer I switched it to a random one that just popped in. IE - The Colors of the Wind

My tickets will be $20 bucks, in Missoula MT. My basement. Sometime this summer. All money goes directly to dredg and a painting will be given away. The penguin is trying to make it to the show as well. R.S.V.P anyone?
