Re: Treasure Hunt: Clue #8
I dont know, I feel that dredg wouldn't blow their wad on one clue. Essentially meaning whoever found the Austin, TX clue would have the greatest shot at the end. What they do with the clue is up to them, but I assume that all the clues will be needed to assist figuring out the others and hoarding info would only put everyone at a dead end.

Re: Treasure Hunt: Clue #8
Someone on the dredg boards said that what was at the gravesite is a clue, and though they won't release too many details, since they're probably on their way to solving it, the clue leads to a 1161 address. More interestingly, he also pointed out that 1161 is a sequence in the big number:
1072010001501315103810003300?601161383945932125150 1500117
which suggests that this number is a concatenation of building numbers. Though that would mean we'd need a way of determining when one stops and another begins, and which street in each city the building number belongs to (I'm guessing songs will somehow map to cities which will then map to those building numbers).
That sounds like one of the most reasonable ideas I've heard so far.

Re: Treasure Hunt: Clue #8
Or perhaps this is taking us longer to catch on than drew anticipated, so he gave in and posted a simplified clue to speed things up. Who knows? lol

Re: Treasure Hunt: Clue #8
yeah its just odd that clue #8 was so straight forward and applied to a specific location, whereas the rest were not. Which makes me think clue #8 may not be as straight forward as it seems. Sure, it lead to something...but what?
So i guess we just wait

Re: Treasure Hunt: Clue #8
good point, in which case... hurry the fuck up and post the clue.. hahaha
that would be interesting if they all twisted together.. clues from every city.. helped other cities...

Re: Treasure Hunt: Clue #8
That is if the clue is specific to their treasure. If they would confirm that, I'd be happy. If, however, it is a clue that applies to all of us, I'd like to know what it is.

Re: Treasure Hunt: Clue #8
think about it...
they have the clue.. a physical clue that no one else has or can get..
they arent full of shit.. they just dont want to let other people in on it until they have a decent lead to the next clue... playing it smart.. by getting this first clue they have basically won.. unless drew some how throws in a new twist
Let them get the lead on the next clue before they share
Congrats, good job

Re: Treasure Hunt: Clue #8
I'll give them a few more days to let those pics surface before deciding it's BS. It is a bit odd that even without pics, they didn't mention what was found. My hopes are that they didn't find something that they want to keep to themselves to have an advantage for the rest of the hunt.
