Hello to all you dredg cult members, I'm new here, and I taped this show back in July here's the details:

7.26.05 @ Club Sound, Salt Lake City, UT

      Ode
      Same Ol' Road
      Sanzen
      It Only Took A Day
      Jamais Vu
      Tanbark
      Walk In the Park
      Of the Room
      Sang Real
      Hungover
      Bug Eyes
      Triangle
      The Ornament
      The Canyon Behind Her
      Yatahaze
      90 Hour Sleep

Club Sound is a crappy sounding venue, Rodney apologized for how shitty he claimed it sounded, but he did a good job for what he had to work with. It was hard to distinguish the bass, and it overall the sound was pretty bled. Gavin was losing his voice and had a hard time at certain points in the set, but overall they sounded spot on. I was super impressed with Dino, he's a hard hitting drummer, his sticks were tossed to the crowd throughout the set. Seemed like a short set to me, but then again I am used to two hour shows.

9-27-05 House Of Blues Atlantic City, NJ

        Setlist:
        Ode to the Sun
        Bug Eyes
        Same Ol' Road
        Hung Over On A Tuesday
        Jamais Vu
        Tanbark
        Drum Take Down

        Review:
Opened for Coheed and Cambria. The sound was pretty clear, regardless of what Rodney though it was going to sound like. The set was short, but the band had loads of energy and were very happy with the new venue.

I'm pretty sure the last song was Tanbark. I remember Gavin screaming . . . or trying to in the high altitude.

Also, just thought I would add that after Same Ol' Road there was a short improv jam. I'm thinking this was because the bass was very low (volume wise) for the first three songs and they were correcting that. Of course, that is speculation.

Holy shit you are right. Thank you. I just remember the part about drugs and then associated it with Hungover.

excellent performance, even though gavin had a messed up thumb, he still played his slide guitar well, and he made reference to the treasure hunt and how the winners would have a part in their next album

DVN also taped the show, and with the footage i gave him, he had 7 different camera angles. hopefully he'll reapear someday and we can get to see that and the boston 5-15-05 show he taped...

All of this is just a little bit that I remember...and the quotes definitely aren't exactly what was said but it's close..and I know i'm missing some other notes about the show...so someone else fill them in!

at the 05/9 Cleveland show, after a song Gavin asked if anyone had any interetsing facts about Cleveland...no one said anything & after the next song Gavin asked if anyone had thought of anything...someone yelled" we've got the best buds!" Gaving asked "Do you mean weed or friends?"...at another point in the show someone yelled "play yahtzee!" Gavin replied something to the likes of "Maybe we can play after the show...but right now we're going to play a song called yatahaze"

                        Added after 11 minutes:

actually...this might be what was said:

"give me one fact about ohio."
                        we have the best buds!
"do you mean marijuana or friends?"

                        yatahaze!
"we wrote that song about ten years ago, i forgot about it."
                        yahtzee!
"good game, we can play after the show."

                        and another little thing:

                        Crowd:"Gavin your glorious"

Gavin: "Yea, your glorious too.. Glorious is a good word, i'll take that.. There's only one other person who thinks that of me, and i dont remember who"

hmm... i'll just post this here. this is the best of my recollection, and i wrote down as much as i could remember that night on my arm.
san jose 2006-3-28 at the sjsu events center:
gavin: "it's great to be home"

                            ode to the sun
                            bug eyes
                            same ol' road
                            sang real
                            the tanbark is hot lava
movement V: 90 hour sleep (i'm pretty sure they were playing it)
                            drum takedown

after their set, they were supposed to be at a booth at 6:45 for a meet-and-greet. they got there a little late, and initially sat down at the booth next to the one they were supposed to be at, but someone corrected them, and then i got much stuff signed (3 cds and one art poster). yaaaaaaaay. i told drew i liked his new look, but i liked the beard and long hair better, and he replied by saying he liked my new look better. haha (he doesn't know me).
