That girl that Gavin handed the stick to was my girlfriend. Haha, yeah we were at this show too and it was amazing. I liked the show in Madison better though because the venue was great and it sounded much better. (you could hear Gavin's vocals so much more) Gavin actually recognized us at the Madison show too and gave us a drumstick. I never thought we'd get another chance, but I guess I was wrong...

I AM THE GIRL WHO DIDNT TAKE THE DRUMSTICK!

because i fail at like. i failed mankind i will admit it.. Yes it was my first Dredg concert. And i remember thinking "Wouldnt it be soo cool if he just handed that drumstick to me.. oh god.. wow.. that would be rad.. but it probably wont happen" and he did.. and my heart started to race and i didnt know he wanted me to take it!!

i thought he was just holding it out for a second.. which i guess doesnt make any sense now that i think about it cuz it was EXTENDED my way.. I was so upset at myself afterwards.. I was like "wow kill me.. i dont even deserve to live" and im starting to get over it..

Because i just went to another one of their concerts last night and i got front row in front of Gavin (yet again) and between two songs he stopped and waved at me.. i was like YES HE RECOGNIZED ME! I feel so special. I want to be his best friend.. haha.. yeah im lame.

Also, he gave us a drumstick so its all good. Cuz i went with my boyfriend and his mom (hah.. yeah..).. and he gave us one. How sweet

Okay well yes. I was reading i realized someone was talking about me.. as the girl who didnt snatch the drumstick at the bottom lounge.. i failed that day.. but oh well.. i got one now.. and he waved at me! so w00t.

w00t is a saying that means "cool". It's something the "young people" (i suppose) say.. actually not a lot of people say it.. im pretty much one of the 8% of the entire world that even uses it.

i love it when i'm at a really large venue, towards the back, and people are yelling at the band to play a certain song or something.

i like turning around and explaining to them that their insignificant voice could not possibly carry up to where the band is, and even if it did, they wouldn't take his request since they already have a set list printed out and are more than likely sticking to that than listening to said person.

they usually don't understand though...and then they try to mosh further proving their level of intelligence

I, too, dislike it. I do not tell artist how to create. I view a concert as an artistic expression and most of the times the bands take careful consideration into how to make each piece beautiful, but that could be just me.
