Yeah it's been like a thousand years since I've tabbed stuff, so I have no idea if this is
clear, but what the hell. If there's demand for it I'll make a gp4 or a ptb.

Verse 1 - Guitar picked notes with some overlays adding the highest note (or some delay's
just screwing with my ear, not certain). I'm just putting down the main idea, with some of
the overlay notes in parentheses. I'm not putting enough repetitions of each chord; just
repeat what's there until a chord change (or just follow the lyrics I wrote, if what I did
makes sense. I tried to make the lyric at the beginning of each chord section correspond
    with the change).

Verse 2 - Same idea but different chords crop up. During the first chord Mark does some
variation on the Am I can't pick out because of the rising strings.. the guitar gets pretty
hard to hear during some parts so there's some guesswork.

    E|----------------------8-------------------10-----------------13------------------6-------------------8-----------------|
grows louder.. illusions illuminate.. -sions dictate your next move.. bound by deception, and a misled direction.. so just let go (slow down)

Chorus 2: Same, except instead of the D chords at the end, just end with

    E|--------------------------|
    B|--7--7--7--7--7--7--7--7--|
    G|--------------------------|
    D|--------------------------|
    A|--------------------------|
    E|--------------------------|

Bridge: I'm not going to tab the solo because it's not very complicated (notewise, anyway) and I'd
have to sift through a fairly long section.. (and I'm almost done so I'm being lazy).. so I just have
    the chords here.

    | D | F#m | D | F#m | Bm | G | C | D | F#m | D | F#m | Bm | G,Em | Am | F | Dm | Bb | Gm | C | Dm | F | Bb | C |
                                     (Vocals here) (just let go)

Final Chorus: The riff after the F chord is now:

    E|---------------------------|
    B|--10-11-10-10-8-10---------|
    G|-------------------10-9----|
    D|---------------------------|
    A|------------------------0--|
    E|---------------------------|

And just strum the D chord once at the end.

I think the outro is just bass and keys.

I haven't tried playing this yet but I must say... That's the most professional damn tab I've ever seen on this board... Thanks for the work...

...I'll check it out when I get home...

it's def on at the beginning, but something seems off in the chorus. not sure what because i just rushed through it with the song playing. damn good job
        ---
oh and that D in the second chorus has more to it than the usual D. i know the lsightest about chords but this is what he's playing

        --2------
        --3------
        --2------
--4------ (mainly just the top 4 notes but you can add in the rest
--2------ because it's hard to hear if he's actually playing the 6th string,
--2------ maybe the 5th but it's too hard to tell.)

Thanks for the comments, guys, it was a pleasure to do.. the chord changes in this song are gorgeous.

@prophetstyle: I'm not sure what you mean by the D in the second chorus.. The first chorus ends with the repeated D chord, but the second just ends with the single note. If you mean the first one, I'm not hearing an F# note in that chord. It's very full - probably layered with a low open D and a high bar at the tenth fret - but I just don't hear a particularly prominent F#. I'm on laptop speakers at the moment though.. tell me if that's the D you mean and I'll listen more closely later on.

And if anybody has a moment to check out the arpeggio'd F in the verses, it's currently stumping me. (It sounds like the thing I have tagged as alternate F, but I put the other F in because the alternate one is totally unnatural to play. Maybe there's a way to do it I haven't thought of.)

This sounds right to me. The way I play it is ring finger, middle finger, then first finger on the 10's. Then at the 13th fret I use my middle finger, then ring finger and lastly pinky.

              GREAT tab! Thanks!

I personally play the 5th barre A accord on the "Let go" part. It's more comfortable.
And I hear F#m in the transistion, not Fm.

Thanks for taking a look at it! The issue I have with it is that every chord in the verses sounds like it's one figure being held to let the whole thing ring out. But I suppose it could easily just be a lot of delay or recording tricks. It'd be interesting to see what Mark does live.

Yeahhh as soon as you said that I realized I meant F#m every time. Fixed now.. thanks.

Ok so I re-listened and that alternate F you had up that I thought sounded right totally doesn't sound right to me anymore. I wasn't listening clearly.

This is a fantastic version, my band is currently going to be covering it. Thanks a lot. If we make any progressive modifications, i'll keep you posted.
