I can't figure this thing out. He plays it too fast for me to figure what's going on. You can hear that Gavin keeps repeating these three notes.

dude, i was trying to figure this out last night. im definitely going to check this out when i get home. ill try to figure out some more of it. we should try to tackle savior next. i figured out the synth part, but the guitar is a bit harder.

I gave this a try last night too. To no avail. Your best look is at the Coachella video but I still cannot find all the notes in proper order. Needless to say Gavin is a much more talented guitarist than I would have ever given credit for.

Haha. Dude I have this sick synth/wah pedal that works wicked for Saviour. And my DL 4 is perfect for the delayed little fills that Mark plays right before the vocals begin. Still having trouble with the opening guitar part though. I agree, lets get this song done.

Yeah. I knew he could play but damn. This riff is pretty tough and I haven't heard him mess it up live yet...

yeah that's def the beginning. sounds pretty spot on. watch a video of gavin playing this and you'll see it reaches for the five with his pinky.

im not sure because i tried figuring this out weeks ago, but there's another note in there that is played on the 1st bea of each measure. but looking at this im not sure of the tempo so it could just be the 2 on the b string.
