I hold absolutely no animosity towards Pariah. I think it was an amazing album, and amazingly written. Definitely right after El Cielo in my book.

There are some weak spots on it, but I enjoy them overall. I think the exact opposite is true of CAMS.

DAMN IT! I wish I was a fat guy that lived there! I would TOTALLY do the hokey pokey shirtless with a Chuckles mask on camera!

I don't think I'm fat enough... that, and me shirtless is something no one wants to see.

I think Ben Gibbard has some pretty great lyrics.

Ugh. But only because I can't stand mewithoutyou. He may very well be a great lyricist, but I hate their music. Same with Brand New.

How can you hate Brand New? At least post-Deja Entendu?

Post anything, I wouldn't know. I heard some stuff by them, didn't like it. Just a matter of opinion and taste.

If I may add, I also love Jón Þór “Jónsi” Birgisson as a lyricist, especially on ().

Well, there's emo Brand New (Your Favorite Weapon, Deja Entendu), and not emo Brand New (The Devil And God Are Raging Inside Me, Daisy). I can understand people not liking the emo stuff (though lyrically, I think it's their best), but not their non-emo.

I can't agree with people that don't like something like Pink Floyd's Atom Heart Mother, because I do like it. Can I understand it? Yes. My opinion is my own, even if nobody else agrees.

Oh, I know it's entirely an opinion. I'm just saying it's an opinion I can't even understand.

thom yorke, pj harvey, fiona apple, i'll say pearl jam as a whole because they all contribute songs, paul mccartney is the best ever, lennon and harrison were also amazing.

I love Radiohead and especially love Thom's solo effort, but I don't think of him as an amazing lyricist. Personally, I believe his lyrics are kind of bland, but his delivery of them is definitely impeccable. That is generally speaking of course. There are some songs of his I could only dream of writing, but the music way overpowers the lyrics to me.
