Currently, their Chuckles image is coming across as bizarre, experimental and whacked out , but their music is bordering on standard pop rock these days. Alas, I have not heard all of Chuckles, but the image that I've seen up to this point does not sync well with the music this time around.

I think it does...in a clever contrasting kind of way. I don't know if it was intentional or not, but the artwork made me enjoy the song more when I listened to it...at least subliminally.

I would definitely echo the sentiments about the promotion they've done for this record seemingly being quite far from the content we've been exposed to, but it's very Dredg, very Drew; some of their more quirky nature that has been translated stronger in their live shows seems to be coming out in the process of getting this record out there so far. I think that makes it more exciting, what we've seen so far is very challenging in the sense that it is different to the process we had with TPTPTD and I feel a lot more open to what will come of it than I thought I would have been.
