Haha nah, I was just bitching about all of the Dan songs, but that one clicked with me this time. It's no surprise that a dredg album will constantly grow on me.
But yeah, I realize how it's probably frustrating for me to keep talking about it, so I'll stop. Sorry 'bout that.
The album comes out in 3 weeks and still no leak, as far as i can recall all their previous albuns leaked at least a month in advance, but i could be wrong.
With Superball being the label, I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't leak until a few days before the 29th. I do hope I'm wrong though and anyone can feel free to PM me and prove me wrong.
About the songs, which track is the most 'classic' dredg sounding? And how does Another Tribe sound? Is it a great intro track?
The most "classic" sounding dredg song would have to be The Ornament, and that's only because of how old it is. Perhaps The Thought of Losing You as well, because I could see that being on CWA. Other than that, this is completely new territory for them. Another Tribe is quite good and sets the tone for what you'll hear during the rest of the album - dancey, up-beat, and catchy.
Any big changes to the Ornament or does it sound pretty much like the live version from that Rushdie gig? I couldn't make it out clearly when I checked out the first vid they posted a few weeks back.
